The Periwinkle Garden Club of Frankfort was organized in 1972 to encourage interest in all phases of gardening to promote better horticultural practices, civic beauty, conservation of natural resources and the preservation of our environment.

Each member is committed to be actively involved in the care and maintenance of one or more of the following City of Frankfort gardens and places: Mineral Springs Park, Rotary Park, Wildflower Welcome Site, Post Office Beautification, Mainstreetscape and Adopt-A-Highway Pickup.

Our members have the opportunity to participate in gardening related educational meetings and field trips one day a month, April through December each year. Our members organize and manage an annual Plant Sale and biannual Garden Walk as fundraising events to cover costs of care and maintenance of the gardens. The club has membership with Michigan Garden Club, District 5 and the National Garden Club. Membership yearly dues $40, new members are welcomed any time of the year.
