Mission Statement

The mission of the Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra is to prepare, promote, and  perform orchestral music to audiences from the Benzie County area.

The mission is supported by three mutually reinforcing elements:

Artistic Excellence: promote a standard of excellence in orchestral music

Musical Development: provide a musical environment that encourages  lifelong musical participation and enjoyment

Education: ensure growth in musical skills and knowledge of orchestral music

If you are sitting around doing nothing, it is because our marina is a wonderful place to do that too!

Betsie River Campsite is surrounded by the Betsie River Forest Preserve the camp is located 2 miles from Lake Michigan on the Betsie Valley Trail. Betsie Camp offers Kamper Kabins, RV and tent sites with dappled shade. We are near the Betsie River, Crystal Lake and the famous Sleeping Bear National Park. WIFI, bike and kayak rentals, clean restrooms, hot showers, electric (10 - 30 amp), water, dump station, fish cleaning and freezing all available on site. Stars, fishing, biking, hiking and shopping are just a few adventures of many.
