CHRISTMAS CONCERT

The church family at Blaine Christian Church, 7018 Putney Road, invites you and your family to celebrate Christmas by coming to the church at 10 am on Sunday, December 22, 2019 to enjoy the music and the season of Christmas.

The church’s usual two worship services will be combined into one service that day. At 10 am, the church’s choir will present “MAKE  ROOM”, which will share the truth of Jesus’ birth and His life here on earth through music and dramatic readings.

There is no cost to attend.  It is our desire that this celebration will help capture the joy of Christmas for all who will see and hear.

Blaine Christian Church is located at the corner of Joyfield and Putney Roads.  For directions or more info, please call the church, 231/352-9148.

Please review the rules prior to creating your sled. Held slopeside on the Lodge deck.

10:30am: Cardboard Classic Creative Sled Contest
Build a sled using only cardboard and duct tape. Sleds must be pre-registered to participate in the Cardboard Classic. 

11am: Cardboard Classic Race
Held on Cheers To Lou slope.

11am - 1:30pm: Slush Cup Registration
Held slopeside on the Lodge deck.

Noon - 5pm: DJ Dance Party and BBQ
Held slopeside on the Lodge deck.

2pm: Slush Cup
Ski or ride through a giant pit of icy slush. Day of registration required at slopeside tent at least 30 minutes prior to the start time. Helmets are required. Rental gear is prohibited. Participants must be at least 12 years of age.

7pm: Live Music in the Vista Lounge
Featuring Scarkazm, their mix of modern rock/metal covers blended with original songs are sure to keep the party going all night long.

11am: Kayak on the Snow Race
Compete for the best time! Equipment provided. Personal equipment is prohibited. Participants must have a helmet and be at least 8 years old. Registration required 30 minutes prior to the event starting.

11am - 1:30pm: Slush Cup Registration
Held slopeside on the Lodge deck.

Noon - 5pm: DJ Dance Party and BBQ
Held slopeside on the Lodge Deck.

2pm: Slush Cup

Frankfort Craft Fair - THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED

UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO THE CORONAVURIS STATE RESTRICTIONS - THE FRANKFORT CRAFT FAIR HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR 2020.

 

When you come to the Frankfort-Elberta area on June 20 you won't be disappointed. We are starting the summer season off with plenty of activities to enjoy! On Saturday, June 20th, the Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Frankfort Craft Fair from 10 am - 4 pm. The Fair will be on Main Street in downtown Frankfort between 4th and 6th Streets. With over 75 booths of quality crafters & artists, you are sure to find that perfect gift or item for your home or garden. You can also check out the downtown retailers, restaurants and farmer's market at the same time! If you are a vendor that would like to participate in this wonderful Craft Fair we are still accepting applications. 

The Antique Vehicle & Muscle Car Show, sponsored by Crystal Lodge #270 of the Free and Accepted Masons, will be held in the same block as the Fair in Mineral Springs Park, also in downtown Frankfort. Registration begins at 8:00 am.
